Welcome Back!  It’s hard to believe that the summer has ended.  I’m excited to begin my 13^th year as a teacher; and my 10^th year here at CCS.  I feel privileged to have the opportunity to be such a major role in your child’s life!

Together we will watch your child grow in their independence and responsibility.  Please expect the curriculum to be challenging.  Even though expectations are high, I only ask that the children give their best effort.

Communication is very important to me and I hope that you will contact me whenever you have questions or concerns.  I may be reached by email or phone.  I have attached 5 parent/teacher student notes for your use throughout the year in cases where your child’s daily schedule will be changed due to doctor’s appointments, etc.  I hope you will find them useful.  I’ve attached a copy of my classroom discipline policy; please review it with your child.  It’s important that we are all on board and understand the policy.

Rotation Classes             

Each week students will attend the following specials.  Each class will meet for 45 minute periods.  Please note your child’s PE day, and make sure they are dressed appropriately (sneakers, shorts, pants).

Snack Time  

Snack time is a privilege in class.  Students will bring their own snacks in daily.  The snacks should be HEALTHY, can be eaten in 5 minutes, and be kept in their lunchboxes or book bags.

Each Friday we will have a family responsible for a SPECIAL FRIDAY SNACK.  This is a day to provide a special snack for the class.  This could be muffins, etc.  We have 10 students in class.

Birthday treats may also be in.  Just contact me in advance.
